MARYSS LUCIA 04/04/2001 Sire: Ungido IV Dam: Quebradilla Rose Grey (Bay) " AA Ee Gg" 15.3hh This mare is 100% CARDENAS breeding, having been conceived at the World Famous stud of Miguel Angel de Cardenas Osuna, a product of his stunningly successfull breeding programme that has produced many National Champions of Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, and other countries. Arriving in the UK tucked away in her beautiful mothers tummy, Lucia has grown into a very lovely and important mare for the Stud, particularly as she was Quebradilla's only foal born here before she died. Her sire UNGIDO IV was NATIONAL CHAMPION OF SPAIN, and TWICE CHAMPION OF ANDALUCIA, before being syndicated to a group of breeders in the Balearic Islands. Lucia was declared 3rd overall Best Moving Mare in Show at the 2006 National Championship Breed Show. Also Best British Bred Mare in the 5-6yr old class.
